Alon and Araw is a Zambales-based grassroots organization that combines coastal cleanup with active community participation—lending services to the families and kids who are part of their plastic segregation program. On Monday, January 27, CNN Philippines, operated by Nine Media Corporation, announced that it would shut down operations on Wednesday, January 31, after nine years of service due to financial losses.

KFD 2023: A Community Under Fire

The Katipunan Fund Drive (KFD), a yearly fundraiser event where classes band together to showcase their business management skills for a cause, is deemed by many as the greatest rite of passage for Atenean students. Muling Pag-alab ng Sulo: Ang Panunumbalik ng Youth For Christ sa ASHS

Maraming Atenista ang kasalukuyang nakakatikim ng makulay at maunlad na “org life” sa Ateneo de Manila Senior High School. Mula SHOrSem hanggang recruitment week, ilista mo na ang mga senior na nagpupursiging palamutihan ang kanilang booth ng mga dekorasyong aagaw sa atensyon ng mga junior. Kaya huwag kalilimutang pagalain ang tingin para hindi makaligtaan ang kanilang mga gimik na hihimok sa’yong sumali sa kanilang organisasyon. Bagamat mayroong humigit kumulang 50 na mga org sa ASHS, patuloy pa rin itong nadadagdagan o ‘di kaya naman ay may nanunumbalik—katulad na lamang ng Youth For Christ (YFC) na muling binuhay ngayong taon ng core officers nito.
