Being a Filipino, Catholic, and Ignatian institution, the Ateneo de Manila Senior High School (ASHS) does its best to build safe spaces and inclusivity within its campus. Such efforts range from participating in school-wide events like One Big Pride to establishing inclusivity-catered committees such as ASHS Gender Hub and its very own Mayari Committee. With all of ASHS’ extensive efforts, it may seem like it has come a long way along its path to inclusivity. But, how far has it really gone?
