Six years ago, we were promised change in a short period of time. We were promised a government with transparency and improvement– hence the saying goes, “Change is coming.” But what are we to make of the changes that occurred within the jurisdiction of the previous administration?
In this first of the six-part series, we shall recall all of the events, promises, and lies that had occurred under the Duterte administration.
A few months before the election day was held, a myriad of polls and surveys from differing institutions kept popping up, notably favoring the same people. This gave rise to the question of whether or not these polls are truly believable, despite the identified ‘red flags’ on a polling institution.
A day before the end of the 31st SEA Games, the Philippines hauled 212 medals collectively, with 50 gold, 69 silver, and 93 bronze.
Maintaining the fifth spot in the 31st Southeast Asian Games, the Philippines now have a total of 200 medals with 47 gold, 65 silver, and 88 bronze.
Presently ranking fifth three days before the finish of the 31st Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in Vietnam, Filipino athletes continue to vie in the international arena in the hopes of adding to the country’s existing total of 194 overall medal tally.
On the seventh day of the 31st SEA Games, the Philippines hauls 173 medals with 40 being gold, 57 silver, and 76 bronze.
On the sixth day of the 31st SEA Games, the Philippines hauls 140 medals in numerous sports, with 36 gold, 46 silver, and 59 bronze.
The Philippines gained eight more medals on the fifth day of the 31st Southeast Asian Games, bringing its total medal tally to 116 medals — 33 gold, 37 silver, and 46 bronze medals
On the fourth day of the 31st SEA Games, the Philippines’ medal tally soars to 102 medals—27 gold, 33 silver, and 42 bronze medals.
