With the recent closure of this year’s National Schools Press Conference (NSPC), campus journalists across the country are once again left with the lasting impression of a prestigious competition, ruminating on goals and capabilities. Transcending its competitive confines, however, the NSPC serves not only as a motivation — but a reminder that beyond its combative nature is an opportunity to pursue not another trophy, but the irrefutable truth.
