As the second half of the first semester is upon us, what are the worries haunting the minds of the ASHS especially after the release of midterm marks? Serving as an equal playing field for all students, the senior high school has become a terrifying wake up call for juniors and seniors alike; a far cry from a streak of past achievements. Still, the reality check we begrudgingly call midterm marks is but a stepping stone for more progress, and a trick that will give us double the treats.

Isa ang Simbang Gabi sa mga nakagawiang tradisyon at seremonya sa Pilipinas, na karaniwang isinasagawa bilang paghahanda sa araw ng Kapaskuhan. Subalit, kasabay ng pagsulong ng teknolohiya at social media ang isang tila “makabagong” kaugalian o trend tuwing ginaganap ang Simbang Gabi. From checking piles of test papers to handling multiple classes, it is an understatement to say that being a teacher can be exhausting. Despite all of this, our teachers often receive unwarranted criticism about the job they have been doing their whole life. While some of these may have some validity, when does constructive criticism cross the line into blatant hate?
