The Ateneo Senior High School Commission on Elections (ASHS ComElec), in a post last August 8, 2020, informed the ASHS Community about their role as a commission.

They are the sole governing body that oversees, manages, and maintains school elections, and monitors the checks of the student government and its duly elected officials. They do not fall under any council in the ASHS Sanggunian instead, they are directly under the Office of the Assistant Principal For Student Activities And Services.

The ASHS ComElec has also released the ASHS ComElec Code of 2020 and the Rules of Internal Procedure, which contain all the foundation and structure and rules that the ComElec is governed by and contain all the procedures that the ComElec will employ throughout the school year.

The ComElec has also announced this year’s members to be headed by Clarence Monterozo, with Sabine Divino as the Vice-Chairperson and Julia Agbayani as the Secretary, under the guidance of our Assistant Principal for Student Activities and Services, Mrs. Czel Lacson.

The ASHS ComElec also has its extended core with Programs Head, Gerrimi Argonza; Public Relations Head, Michael Lopez II; IT/Technical Head, Miles Bea; and Creatives Head Pepi Panaguiton.

The ASHS ComElec has also introduced its Liason Team headed by Sabine Flaminiano, she will also be the Executive Council Representative. Members of the team include ACO-STEM Council Representative, Frodo Uranza; ABM Council Representative, Pia Cruz; GA Council Representative, Sydney Tongson; HumSS Council Representative, Jiana Lim; CSO Representatives, Andrei Dimaculangan and Samantha Kloss; lastly AthC Representative, Kleid Pedraja

The Liason Team will be monitoring the progress of the councils they are assigned to. This is to ensure that all projects and meetings are still aligned with the ASHS best interests.
