Typhoon ULYSSES started crossing Central Luzon, NCR, and Calabarzon in the early morning of November 12 and brought about strong winds, torrential rain, and massive floods.
At 7:00 AM today, the center of the eye of Typhoon ULYSSES in the vicinity of Cabangan, Zambales. It has maximum sustained winds of 130 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 215 km/h and moving west-northwestward at 30km/h.
Until this afternoon, heavy to intense with at times torrential rains over Metro Manila, Calabarzon, and Central Luzon.
Parts of Bulacan and Marikina are experiencing severe flooding especially those living near Ipo Dam and the Marikina River.
It passed through Rolly-hit Bicol Region first before making its landfall over three towns in the province of Quezon – Patnanungan, Burdeos, General Nakar.
The typhoon is expected to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility tomorrow morning or afternoon, November 13, 2020.
The public is advised to evacuate especially those living in low-lying and flood-prone areas. If you are in need of assistance, call your local government offices to evacuate to the nearest center.
