ASHS CMO to hold a Seniors’ Online Retreat

By Regina Elaine Vendivil

The Ateneo Senior High School (ASHS) will be concluding the school year with its first Online Retreat for the seniors of Batch 2021 entitled “Paglalakbay: A Seniors’ Year-end Online Retreat” via Zoom, spearheaded by the Campus Ministry Office (CMO) to be held on the 12th-14th of May 2021.

This retreat, inspired by St. Ignatius of Loyola’s Spiritual Exercises, aims to deepen one’s personal relationship with God and will allow the seniors to spend quality time with the Lord before they conquer different paths.

This will give the seniors an opportunity to pray and reflect on their journey as ASHS students and “to be able to look back with gratitude and to be able to look forward with hope,” as said by the CMO.

The three-day retreat will be having “Paglalakbay-themed” online conferences every morning with speakers Fr. Luis Lorenzo, LC on May 12, Ms. Nikki Frias on May 13, and Mr. Jampao Reyes on May 14.

A culminating mass will take place on the third and last day to wrap up the whole event.

The daily schedule of the retreat is as follows:

  • 9:00 -9:15 AM- Entry to Zoom
  • 9:15-9:30 AM – Introduction
  • 9:30-10:30 AM – Talk Proper

  • 11:00-12:00 NN – Spiritual Conversation
  • 12:00-12:30 PM – Culminating Mass (3rd Day Only)
