By Regina Elaine Vendivil

The Ateneo Senior High School (ASHS) Arts Subject Area launches an online Annual Exhibition titled “Edge” on Facebook as they feature works from students of the Studio Art class, Contemporary Art classes, Art Guild, and Music12 for the school year 2020-2021.

Despite the shift to the online setting, students were still given the opportunity to look back on various artworks and give appreciation to the art styles seen from different student artists.

The Arts Department, which consists of Sir Antonio Cayabyab, Ma’am Moca Dator, Ma’am Sarah Torraldo, and Sir Jasper De Leon, the Arts Subject Area Coordinator, arranged this online event and has been continuously posting works of ASHS students since April 14, 2021.

Edge spotlights projects of students from the past school year including the self-portraits, NASty (New Art Style) Projects, which is the final Art submission for Grade 11 students, and the Studio Art Class Projects which comprises of different Still Life artworks, distorted self-portraits, landscapes, paintings, and sculptures.

Students were asked by the teachers for permission before their projects were publicly posted.
