ASHS holds Parent’s Day

By AJ Alarcon

The Ateneo Senior High School (ASHS) held its annual Parent’s Day on Saturday, August 9, to orient the parents of Grade 11 and Grade 12 students on school systems, course guidelines, and upcoming activities for the school year.

The program opened at 10:00 AM with class moderators discussing house rules, school systems, and contact information.

Parents were then introduced to guidance counselors and subject teachers, who presented course guidelines and shared their contact details.

Teachers of the Christian Service and Involvement Program (CSIP) also outlined immersion guidelines for Grade 12 students.

Separate orientation sessions were held for elective classes under the General Academics (GA) strand and the Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) strand.

The event concluded at 1:30 PM with a session led by the Class Parent Representatives (CPR).

Orientation for Physical Education (PE) classes was delivered through a video presentation sent to the parents via email.

The parents were also invited to join the afternoon Recollection from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by the Family Mass at 4:30 PM.
