The weekly sessions for organizations, sports clubs, and committees (OSCC) in the Ateneo Senior High School (ASHS) began on Tuesday, September 16, with Tuesday OSCCs holding orientations and introductory activities to welcome members for Academic Year (AY) 2025–2026.

Retaining the Tuesday-Thursday schedule from last AY, the sessions are held during the activity period after classes from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Matt Cabral, a Grade 11 student and member of the French Legion, shared that coming from Ateneo Junior High School, he initially found it difficult to choose involvements for his two-year stay in ASHS.

He added that he did not know what to expect from the first session.

“But when I arrived [at my] first session, I was immediately greeted by the enthusiasm of the org heads and the org moderator [welcoming] us into this wonderful org I joined,” Cabral said.

“The activities there…really helped me resonate with my org,” he added.

Cabral also stated that he hopes for “more fun activities” in future sessions.

A different set of OSCCs will conduct their first session on Thursday, September 18.

In preparation for the sessions, students were given time to discern their choices during the Involvement Month, which featured promotions and open house activities.
