The Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) announced on Monday, October 27, that it is set to open a 15-hectare campus in General Trias, Cavite by 2030 to expand access to Jesuit education outside of Metro Manila.
The upcoming campus will be located in Riverpark Township, a 600-hectare mixed-use development by Federal Land Inc. and its joint venture partner, Federal Land NRE Global Inc.
The partnership was formalized through a signing ceremony held on Friday, October 24, at the GT Tower International Penthouse in Makati City.
GT Capital Holdings Inc. Vice Chairman Alfred Ty and President Carmelo Maria Luza Bautista signed on behalf of GT Capital, while ADMU President Fr. Roberto “Bobby” Yap, S.J. represented the university.
ADMU partnered with GT Capital Holdings Inc. and its property arm Federal Land Inc. to establish its first campus outside Quezon City under the same academic framework.
“The new Ateneo campus in Riverpark allows us to extend our mission and provide more families in Cavite and nearby provinces with access to quality education rooted in our Jesuit tradition,” Fr. Bobby Yap said, adding that the project upholds Ateneo’s vision of forming leaders-for-others.
Furthermore, GT Capital Vice Chairman Alfred Ty noted that the collaboration highlights their shared vision with Ateneo to bring quality education closer to thriving communities in the south.
He also emphasized that the new campus reflects the group’s long-term commitment to building sustainable and future-ready spaces for Filipino families anchored on excellence and service.
Riverpark currently houses the UNIQLO Logistics Facility and will soon include SM City General Trias, positioning the estate as Cavite’s emerging commercial and educational hub.
By 2026, residents will gain direct access to the Open Canal Interchange of the Cavite–Laguna Expressway, improving travel time to and from the township.
