On November 17, the Ateneo Senior High School (ASHS) Council of Student Committees (CSC) officially opened the CSC Awareness Campaign Project 2025, themed “WONDER: A Voyage Through Advocacies,” at the first-floor foyer of the Main Building.
The program opened with a performance by the ASHS Music Industry Organization’s (MIO) of “Mananatili” by Cup of Joe.
Following this, hosts Cheska Jovellanos and Neo Monterola announced “SIKLO: When Light Returns,” as the theme of the fifth ASHS Fair, which is set to take place on January 30 to 31, 2026, coinciding with the celebration of the school’s 10th year.
“Siklo refers to the cycle of light and dark in our lives. Hope and despair, peace and oppression — these are the cycles that continue. In Siklo, as one community together, we will bring back our light,” Fair Committee Overall Head Monterola explained.
10 planet-themed booths prepared by different student committees are stationed along the first floor of the Main Building.
The booths include Sandigan Kanlaon’s “Kantaob,” Sandigan Alunsina’s “Tanghal-ian,” Mayari Committee’s “Planet Mayari,” Sandigan Mapulon’s “Alaga,” and Sandigan Matanglawin’s “Carambola Forest.”
The Fair Committee’s “Room and Roar (Voice of Change),” Sandigan Idiyonale’s “The Blank Planet,” Sandigan Lakambini’s “The Lakambini House Tour: Exploring Gender Norms,” the Bluebook Committee’s “Mirror Wall,” and the Aninaw Special Committee’s “Knock Down Fake News” are also featured.
Students who participate in the booths receive passports to be submitted at the Central Core Booth until November 19.
Those who earn the most stamps will qualify for a raffle, in which two winners will receive a Hirono Little Prince as the prize.
Sharing her experience as a participant, Andrea Becina of 11-Grande said, “The booth that caught my attention the most was the Fair booth because it made you shout for your advocacy, and it was a fun way to voice out what you hold close to your heart.”
She further expressed, “I feel that the Fair booth also resonates the most with my advocacy because I really advocate for active communication and using your voice to spread kindness and the values that you uphold to the people who need to hear it.”
Meanwhile, Janela Caluag, the Overall Co-head of Sandigan Lakambini, emphasized how their advocacy is shown in their display, sharing, “The binary begins as early as childhood, where children are assigned toys according to their assigned sex.”
“Our booth [advocates breaking] gender norms and [advancing] through binary, letting children play with whatever toys they want,” she added.
The celebration of the campaign project will continue until November 18 at the Office of the Student Activities (OSA) foyer and on November 19 at the first-floor foyer of the Main Building.
