The ‘Women in STEM’ movement has been a long-standing one, rooted in the omnipresent weight of gender-normative expectations engraved in history — and in commemoration of all the women who have persisted, and are persisting, against the dominance of societal standards, we are reminded that they are more than what these norms paint them to be.
