‘Tis the Season for Academics: Holiday Rush

Behind every approaching Holiday season is a baggy-eyed student catching up with the last few deadlines of the semester. Even amidst the joy-filled festivities, there lie countless sleepless nights as a result of packed schedules and rushed due dates. This begs the question if our beloved academics are still able to indulge in the seasonal celebrations; or if they will only have their textbooks as company.

There are only a certain number of individuals who answer the call to teach our future leaders. A profession in education is not one made for just anyone to take up— it’s for those who exemplify what absolute dedication and commitment mean. Midterm Madness: What frightens ASHS students the most?

As the second half of the first semester is upon us, what are the worries haunting the minds of the ASHS especially after the release of midterm marks? Serving as an equal playing field for all students, the senior high school has become a terrifying wake up call for juniors and seniors alike; a far cry from a streak of past achievements. Still, the reality check we begrudgingly call midterm marks is but a stepping stone for more progress, and a trick that will give us double the treats.
