For 48 years, the Ateneo community has sung its love to Mary through Alay Kay Maria, a performance where prayer and artistry converge on one stage. This year’s theme, “Stella Maris,” or “Star of the Sea,” felt especially timely: in a nation navigating storms of unrest and polarization, Mary shines as a steadfast light, anchoring us through troubled waters and guiding us safely home.

Encompassing ten sections per batch, students of the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) strand make up a large portion of the school community. As our juniors dive into the uncharted waters of the strand, our dear seniors prepare for the changing tides of college life — ready to leave the pool of people they have come to call home. Yet before these goodbyes are given, both juniors and seniors of the STEM strand are given the chance to create memories and laugh among like-minded people — building bonds that will last even as the school year ends.

SA KARANGALAN: Ang ika-21 ng Agosto 2025 ay nagmamarka ng ika-42 anibersaryo ng pagkamatay ni Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino. Ang kaniyang matapang na diwa ang nagtulak sa kanya bilang tagapagtanggol ng demokrasya at karapatang pantao, kahit pa ito ay naglagay sa kaniya sa panganib. Habang ipinagdiriwang natin ang kaniyang kasaysayan ngayon, hindi lamang natin tinatanaw ang nakaraan, kundi pati na rin ang hinaharap ng Pilipinas — isang kinabukasang buong sigasig na ipinaglaban ni Aquino.
