Malditas outlast Chinese Taipei; qualify for FIFA World Cup

DOH urges infected individuals to get booster shot after isolation

After admitting that the rising wave of COVID-19 cases caused the deceleration of vaccination drives, the Department of Health (DOH) released a statement advising COVID-19-positive individuals to get their booster shot after completing their isolation period and when their symptoms have completely subsided.

COVID-19 is now the 3rd leading cause of death in the Philippines

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) reported on Monday, January 17, 2022, that COVID-19 was among the leading causes of death in the Philippines from January to October of last year, taking third place behind ischaemic heart diseases and cerebrovascular diseases.
