Most athletes long to show their country’s colors over international waters at the renowned event that only happens every four years: The Olympics. This year, the country made history by putting forward 22 individuals to represent the Philippines with heart and pride; with each athlete carrying different stories and having undergone various obstacles to get where they are today. In the end however, they are all united under one flag. It’s time to give our athletes their props, and take a look at each of their journeys to fulfil the Olympic dream.
