AHS pushes through opening-day rallies in UAAP S88 Table Tennis

The Ateneo High School (AHS) Table Tennis team faced a challenging first-round opening to their University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Season 88 campaign, held on Saturday, November 15, at the Amoranto Stadium. Though both boys’ and girls’ teams suffered losses, their focus remains on the preparation and growth of the young athletes.

The Ateneo High School (AHS) Track & Field team concluded their campaign after competing fiercely across the events of the UAAP Season 88 Athletics Tournament at the New Clark City Athletics Stadium from November 6 to 9. The Blue Eagles, finishing with a total of 18 points in the final standings, secured a lone silver medal to make their presence known during the competition.

The Ateneo Blue Eagles emerged victorious on the final day of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Season 88 High School Swimming Tournament, finishing second behind University of Santo Tomas (UST) in both Girls’ and Boys’ divisions, and securing a third UAAP record from Girls’ Team Captain Trixie Ortiguera at the New Clark City Aquatics Center on Sunday, November 9.

AHS Judokas grip podium of PUJC International Open

Judokas know the importance of a good grip — firm, steady, and unyielding — for it gives them the control to throw, to balance, and to rise again. But beyond what happens on the tatami, that grip grows tighter as the arena erupts in a chorus of support: judokas calling out to their teammates to throw, step back, push, or escape a lock. In that same spirit, the high school team of the Ateneo Judo Association (AJA) held on — gripping tight to their bronzes and silvers — during the Philippine Ultimate Judo Championships (PUJC) International Open, held on October 4 at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.
