Katipunan is home to some of the biggest college giants in the country, namely: Ateneo de Manila University (AdMU), and the University of the Philippines (UP). Their ancient rivalry is historically rooted in the basketball courts of Intramuros, before being carried over to Katipunan. While we’ve come to see them as polar opposites, we’ll take a closer look at their long history of rivalries and modern student population to find out.
